About LSE ID-Research

Individual behaviours play important roles in everyday life, such as when we meet people in the street, a café, our local charity organisation or at work.

What kind of person is this?

That’s maybe one of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) of our everyday life. It is so frequent, that finding a quick answer has become second nature to us!

But what do we actually take into account when we judge a person as being nice, talkative or nosy? What behaviours are we looking at to assess someone as outgoing or shy?

We are exploring these questions in our studies. We apply novel methods and cutting-edge video technologies to get new insights in the fascinating world of our knowledge and thinking in everyday life.
